Their Story
It all started with one message from Vaibhav asking Michelle to get married in Vegas.
Their first date was April 2nd, 2021. Covid had shut down the world. However, their life just got started. They both argued over who won the game of Monopoly but fell in love over their shared hatred for olives.
It is well-known how hard it is for Vaibhav to answer a text message and pick up the phone. But Michelle soldiered on, winning her place in his trusted circle.
Then finally one day, Michelle biked to Vaibhav’s little house in Coal Harbour with roses and lemonade in hand as he was having a bad day. It was then, as she was biking away, that she looked back and yelled out “I love you” for the first time. Shortly after Michelle received a reply via text message expressing his love for her as well.
One small step at a time they opened up their lives to each other. Their strengths and their weaknesses. Vaibhav healed Michelle’s little heart allowing her to love him like she had never loved anyone before. And she in turn taught him how to be more expressive and thoughtful.
Through the ups and downs, literally like up mountains. Vaibhav and Michelle have supported one another. They have bonded over their love for their dog, love for adventure, and love for their families. They have supported each other through the lowest of the lows and celebrated with each other at the highest of highs
And here we are! Vaibhav and Michelle have finally decided to take a leap of faith and spend the next 7 life times together!
